my "WONDERFUL vacation"

I flipped when my weekend was referred to as a vacation. As wonderful as it was to spend time w/ my family for my Mom's 60th Birthday, I would hardly call it a vacation. It was not without work and does not fit my definition of 'vacation'.

Gambling, Dining, poolside and working remotely from the Green Valley Resort in Henderson, NV were book ended by a 2 hour run, a portion of which I was able to run w/ a few of my favs - j-nice, lyn & Van and a 1 hour easy spin on the trainer. The watch and my HRM decided to give me issues (again) on Saturday.

Here's a picture of my trainer set up b/c among 5 Espiritus and 3 Taylors none of us were able to remember a camera in Henderson.

(Specializd Allez Elite '09 & CycleOps Fluid 2 w/ Garmin 405, cadence sensor and HRM recoding the fun)

On a super sad note, I was just informed that a friend's mother had passed away over the weekend. I don't think I told my mom I loved her this weekend. I guess I assume she knows. I'll stop assuming now.
