(from left to right)- A pink silly band in the shape of a pig. why? a) cuz I'm silly (ck my non running related blog at gotsilly.blogspot.com) and #2 - my daughter was born in 2007. The year of the pig according to the Chinese calendar. Ni hao, bitches.
- A green silly band in the shape of a turtle. why? because it's a reminder to me. while not necessarily slow, but pacing myself early on is key to a successful race. We all know who won in the race between the tortoise and the hare.
- a white Power Balance Band. why? cuz i think it has magic powers. actually no, i don't. it replaced my livestrong bracelet that zoey decided to play hide and let's never seek with. I wear it, as a matter of fact, for balance. my left wrist is the home of my Garmin Forerunner 310xt. I'd run in counter clockwise circles if i didn't offset the weight of that thing.
Update (3 weeks later)
Somehow the silver thingy has disappeared. I don't know where it has gone, but i want my 25 dollars back and now I'm also afraid to go through airport security.
guy. send it back to power balance with proof of purchase. if it's within 60 days they'll send you a new one. within 30 days and you can ask for your money back.
