weekly RUN down - ahhhhh recovery week.

So this week's scheduled was denoted as a recovery week, but before I was able to do that I had to get in my first 'double run' in two months. You guessed it, that means 2 runs 'at least 6 hours apart' per the schedule. The first being a 90 minute run and the second being a 30 minute run. I committed a Boot Camp Challenge run with some friends from Mt Carmel c/o 1996 and Joey. Very very good times. This probably would have been a much more enjoyable run, had I not had to run 90 minutes w/ Zone 4 pick ups at 5AM (approx 5 hours before the start of the challenge).

That was Saturday. With two birthdays and a comedy show to attend throughout the rest of the day and into the late evening, I was for sure spent. Recovery was in order.

Today was the first day I ran since. An easy zone 2. Zone 2 actually gets pretty fast now, so it turned out to be not so easy and b/c the shower at work was occupied, I've been sitting in my own stink for the last 7 hours. I can't wait to get out of here.
